We haven't built an HCP commentary report on MSLT-II (Melanoma) yet. This page shows the registry record and the public commentary we found that names the trial. A report reads that commentary and sets out what clinicians said about the trial, each point linked to its source. How reports are made.
Questions raised in the commentary
Automated, Oct 29, 2026. Not an Erudio report: no source links. Not medical advice.
The commentary discusses MSLT-II in the context of sentinel-node-positive melanoma, including the choice between completion lymph node dissection and active surveillance with nodal ultrasound, and the broader role of lymph node surgery. Discussion also covers how the trial may inform clinical management and whether changing practice means abandoning completion dissection. A speaker raises the question of how long randomized-trial results take to be adopted, while other commentary focuses on the trial’s relevance to less extensive surgery.
Indexed commentary on MSLT-II so far
Podcasts, YouTube videos and X posts we have indexed that name the trial. It is where a report starts, not where it ends: the build searches for more, so finished reports usually cover more than this.

- Primary outcomes
- Melanoma-specific survival. This is defined as the time between the date of a subject's randomization (or date of CLND for those randomized to the CLND arm) and the date of death due to melanoma. Subjects are followed until death or 10yrs.
